You Aren’t the Only One

No matter what you think, you are not the only affiliate marketer online. This sounds like a stupid statement. But every now and then you have to remind yourself of this.
I have spent weeks getting traffic to a site and been disappointed with the results I got. Most of the time, I would be down on myself. What did I do wrong? How could I have done this better?
But at the same time you are working on your site, hundreds or even thousands of others are working on sites of their own. And you can’t change that.
Investigating a niche, knowing your competition, and keeping track of your competitors will help out a lot. But in the end, you don’t have the power to change everything to your advantage.
Seems like a disappointing way of looking at things, but I don’t see it like that. I see it as a way to take the blame off of your shoulders. Don’t beat yourself up. Either find another way to recoup all your lost time. Or write it off and move on. Don’t dwell on it. Move ahead.

You’re right. That’s why it is crucial to pick a not so crowded niche from the beginning. Trying to surpass older and way more powerful sites in a tough competition field will be very very hard without some real cache support. And i mean big cache. But in the end, there’s nothing impossible. It just takes money, time and hard work
I have spent a few months on sites before that just didn’t make to the first few pages of Google. They didn’t rank well against everyone competing. But down the road I found a use for them.
One thing to understand, you can get all the traffic in the world and still not get sales. People are also not going to your website to click on your affiliate links, they pretty much just want to read the articles on your site.
