I used to keep my head in the sand as an affiliate marketer. I did one thing. I promoted Clickbank products. Why? The high commission percentage. It’s a rush when a sale can get you anywhere from $20 to $100 in commissions. But I only tried a few things. Didn’t step out of the seo box much. But there is more than SEO.

Affiliate marketing can be a pain in the ass to learn sometimes. It’s not hard but it is work. But I am not talking about that part.

The problem is with the options. There are just too many. If you look at the post I wrote just the other day, you will see why. I listed over a hundred ways to promote your blog. Do they all work? Yes. To some extent. But when you are faced with a list like that, at least when I am, I freeze. Too many options gives you no clear place to start. And I promise, that list is only a start. I have used some of the methods and know what has worked for me. And some of the methods are based on your blog as a whole while others focus on posts. And some methods are good to use when you start a blog and others will only work after your blog has at least a little bit of a presence online.

Twitter Tips & Twitter Secrets. Speaking of spam, the way I started this post gave me a de ja vu feeling of the last time I visited an article scraper blog. I need to watch it.

I like Twitter. And if you compare my initial reaction to Twitter to the way I use it now, you might say I love Twitter. When I first heard of it, I thought it was useless. What can you say with that much of a limit? What use is it to know what someone else is doing right this second?

This looks like the start of a great case study of a blog. I am going to stay tuned. And I suggest you do too. The first part is a great rundown on setting up your blog for traffic.

I am setting out to prove that using Entrecard, and only Entrecard, a blog can grow from nothing to very large, and generate a ton of search engine traffic, tons of social media traffic and of course tons of subscribers. So, I know what you’re all thinking and No, I am not going to take advantage of any administrative privileges I have with Entrecard. I’ll be dropping as usual, spending only credits I receive from dropping and advertising, and overall using the system like a normal blogger would.

Most of the time, there is really no reason to pay for an ebook because there is so much free information available out there. Today I spotted a PDF search engine on popurls. So I did some searching.
