I am building a few niche blogs currently. I am still building product pages. At first and up to about a week ago, I copied and pasted the whole sales page into whatever blogging software I was using and then trimmed that content down. This took a long time and had me stalling, because I really hated to wade through all that information, so productivity dropped dramatically on the new blogs.

To get started, I needed a WordPress theme that had extra page templates without sidebars. This was hard to track down and I have created themes in the past, but I didn’t feel like it this time. These special pages will be the landing pages for my PPC campaigns.

I found the Super Affiliate WordPress Theme from Profit Blogger. It takes some gymnastics to get it, but the theme saves you time and it’s free.

I will be using a page as my homepage on the blog, not the traditional home page. This way I have total control over where people go from the home page.

Promoting Clickbank Products with Adwords

There are plenty of systems out there. The problem with systems is that they tend to get you in a rut. I have talked a lot about promoting Clickbank products with Adwords. There are many ebooks available on the subject. The problem is that most of them take one technique and expand it to the point it is a system with no regards to any other possible technique that may have a synergistic effect.

Well, I purchased the Revolution Magazine theme, but it will still take some time to customize. If an effort not to let this blog look abadoned, here is a useful link with resources for building your landing pages.

Don’t ever sell an active site unless that is your business model. If you get traffic to it, it is much better to keep. I see sites selling every day that I would have never sold. I also see sites that are not monetized at all that I would love to get my hands on. Oh, the oppurtunities.

A site in itself can be responsible for making you money without making money itself. It can send traffic to the sites that make you money.
