			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You need a gauge to know just how much you need to do make one sale. This one thing I didn&#8217;t have when I started. And it takes a lot more traffic than most newbies think to make one sale.</p>
<p>I signed up for Clickbank a year before I made a sale. I thought it was a simple as setting up a site and writing about the product. It takes much more than that. The three big ways to build traffic to a campaign are through SEO, PPC, and social media. Each has their benefits and drawbacks. And yes there are other ways, but they tend to fall under these umbrellas.</p>
<p>I have had conversion rates from less than 1% all the way up to about 20%. Yeah, the 20% conversion is great but rarely occurs. For the most part, you will be getting close to a hundred visitors to make one sale. By tweaking things, you can get a few more sales. But if you are starting out and this is the first time you tried affiliate marketing, don&#8217;t expect much more.</p>
<p>Why do I bring this up? Until you start making sales, just move forward, put one foot in front of the other. And don&#8217;t let your doubts gets to you. If you quit too soon, you may just been hours away from a sale. Some time it is hard to keep the work flow up when there is no return, but trust me.</p>
<p>And learn some SEO. This is one of the ways to free up some time. PPC requires babysitting. Social Media requires being active online. SEO can be revisited a few times a months and it sticks. You could ignore it for a month and still reap the benefits. SEO seems to be one of the subjects that confuses most newbies if the sales pages I have seen lately are any indication. They use the fact that their product doesn&#8217;t teach SEO as a selling point. Well, if you don&#8217;t use SEO you are missing out. It may be the only way you get a break every now and then.</p>
