New Comment Kahuna Version and It’s Damn Sweet
August 1, 2008
I use Fast Blog Finder for specific purposes and prefer it for finding blogs to comment because it’s results are more accurate and you can find more blogs with the software. But Comment Kahuna has some features that Fast Blog Finder doesn’t. You can search for specific type of blogs.
They just added added CommentLuv as one of the options. Of course, that’s not the only options. You can choose from the following choices:
- CommentLuv Blogs
- TypePad
- Live Journal
- Drupal
- Wordpress
- Wordpress.com
- Article Feeder
- EzineArticles
- EnGadget
- Squidoo
I have found that since the maximum limit of blogs Comment Kahuna will find is 50, if you set your Search Type to All Types, the software will mainly find Wordpress and Drupal sites. To access articles on the other sites like Squidoo choose them specifically after you do your All Types search.
Any way, if you haven’t heard of this software, here is the link to a movie on hows this new version works. And you can get Comment Kahuna here.

Oh well, again, you need a legacy OS to run it: “CommentKahuna requires the .NET framework to be installed on your computer. Since the .NET framework is now installed on over 90% of windows computers …”
How about Mac, how about Linux and other advanced OS’

I am not sure what would work for a Mac or Linux. It is one of the reasons I have stuck with Windows for my business computers since I started. Software saves time. Windows has the most available software. I could never do half of what I do on another system, because the software just isn’t there or costs money.
Awesome! I haven’t downloaded the latest version so I’ll need to check up on that CommentLuv feature.

I used Fast Blog Finder and CommentKahuna. The new option to find blogs with the CommentLuv plugin added to CommenKahuna was available in the Blog Finder since the version 1. For the moment I stick with the Blog Finder.

I have only just started tinkering with comment Kahuna, and it does look very promising. I hope my experience will be as good as yours.

I’ve used Comment Kahuna a couple of times and while it certainly looks promising, it never lived up to the hype.
At the end of the day, it’s a good automated program for showing you high page-ranking blogs that allow Do Follow. However, if you use it to ’spam’ across the blogs, it simply won’t work. Now I know it’s not really spamming, but unless you are changing your comment each time, it’s not really doing anything new is it? The feature that allows you to fill-in-fields and post too many Blogs eliminates the ‘Intelligent Comment’ process, instead replacing it with repeated comments from people only looking for that Backlink, without a care about the actual blog post itself.
Arguably, it does what it says, but then if everyone uses this program for that purpose, you will see Blogs begin to disappear under the weight of spammers trying to get every link possible. I think this program is excellent in it’s listing of Blogs and there ability to Follow or not, it’s automated comment procedure is less appealing for me though.
I never use the comment part of the automated form. I do fill out the name, email, and url though. That saves time. That’s all I really use the software for. Save time. By finding higher ranking pages for me to comment on when I have limited time to comment. But I’m not out to spam.
Does any one know of a similar program for the mac? I love comment kahuna, but have recently changed over to a mac. I love the new system, but I’m finding the software available is very limited. Any help would be appreciated.
I would use an online tool like DoFollow Diver. I have yet to find a Mac tool. I find very few Mac tools that help me with any type of internet marketing. One of the biggest reasons I prefer PC’s. And I use Macs at my 9to5 ecommerce job and have for almost two years doing the same things I do in affiliate marketing to promote the products we sell. I bought a PC laptop and ditched my desktop so I could use the same tools for both.
