My Current Affiliate Project

This blog won’t be complete until I get all my ducks in a row. I will be keeping up here with about 3-5 posts a week until I take it full time. I am currently experimenting with the following process:

1. Find a Clickbank Product to Promote
2. Start a direct to affiliate link Adwords Campaign.
3. Buy a domain closely related to the product.
4. Write a landing page for the index page of the domain.
5. Continue the Adwords Campaign with the landing page.
6. Install a Wordpress blog in a directory on the domain.
7. Research the niche.
8. Write articles for the blog and post daily.

Too me it seems much better than bum marketing. If you have money to spare to start with advertising first, you can rule out bad products quicker. You will get instant traffic. You will know if the product is worth spending some time on. Then as natural rankings take over, you can slow down the advertising to get a better ROI. Sometimes, you can make more profit a day with a lower ROI in the beginning of a campaign. But as you want to start more campaigns, you may need to free up some advertising money by cutting costs on current campaigns and increasing ROI. But with this plan, you can use natural traffic to come in and take over, while still dropping the advertising costs.

If you have more time than money, you could start with bum marketing first, then go to advertising and your own domain. This would save you money instead of time.

Creating your own system out of what you are currently doing can free up some time to do other things. Once you know what works, you can use the same process again with another product.
