Let’s Make Some Money in the New Year
That is the type of new year’s resolution that always fails. It’s a great goal. But it is an easy goal to ignore, because it gives no details as to how you are going to do it. Mine was going to be make six figures from affiliate marketing this year. That doesn’t help either.
How will I do this?
- Expand my advertising spending beyond Adwords
- Get more links to my sites that make money
- Build more money making sites
- Release software from this site that people can’t live without and give it away for free
- Create a theme just for this site and give it away with links back to it.
Of course, these still remain vague. I look at the list and say, "Now what?". Each one of these can be expanded further into specific actions like: Start a MIVA campaign for [specific vendor].
Making your goals too vague makes them easy to forget and ignore. They are not completely defined yet.
