Fast Blog Finder - Get All the Dofollow Links You Can Handle

May 8, 2008

I rarely buy software. Really, I don’t buy that much. My hard drive is full of open source programs and freeware and for most of the stuff I do online, those will do.

But you can’t deny the value of working smarter and quicker. Which is why I bought a license Fast Blog Finder. But you can use it for free, forever. Read on to find out how.

One of the ways to get more search engine traffic to your blogs is to comment on dofollow blogs. Dofollow blogs are blogs that remove the nofollow links from the urls in the comment section allowing search engines to count those links as votes to your site. The vast majority of blogs are not dofollow.

And I know that spammers use this tactic. They only comment where they can get real links. But I am not telling you to spam. I am just telling you to comment more intelligently. If you had a choice of 20 blogs to comment on and only time to comment 4 times, then you might as well check out the ones that will give you valuable links first.

But I have found a tool that finds blogs to comment on called Fast Blog Finder.

Let’s say you wrote a post on how to find keywords for an Adwords campaign. For one, it pays to do some research first. Search other blogs to see what other bloggers have to say about the topic. You may want to reference them. You may want to comment, since your covering the topic anyway.

Fast-Blog-Finder

Well, Fast Blog Finder will find these blog posts for you. Type in your keywords and hit search. When it’s done searching, you’re presented with the posts, whether or not they are do follow and the Pagerank of both the site and the post itself. You can’t beat that. And if you want even more of a backlink kick, use your keywords + "commentluv" to find those blogs who will not only link to your homepage but your last blog post.

So that’s enough of a review. You don’t really need to hard sell free downloads.

Download Fast Blog Finder. It’s free to use and only limited to 50 blogs per search until you buy. Don’t need to find more than that. Hey, it’s free forever then.

I know how it is. I work with Mac’s in the office. I am a heavy software user. For home I use Windows, because I need software. But I haven’t seen a similar product for Mac.

I have also learned that if you are going to place a dofollow comment with the two fold purpose of sharing your opinion and improving your links - put a name pertinant to your keywords!

    Thanks.

I used this tool but I do not know how many back links really increase my page rank? now I do not have any page rank.

  18. Stephan Miller on July 15th, 2008 5:31 am

You build links like you used to wait for summer to begin as a kid. If you count the days, it’s going to take forever and you may give up. Just push forward, set a quota for yourself and stick to it.

I started with 10 comments a day. That was my goal. I have slacked off on that a little lately, but I need to get back on schedule.

You can also up it. I heard that Courtney Tuttle was doing something crazy like 50 comments a day. It’s all in how much you want to do and how far you are willing to go.

And remember the quota is for useful comments, not crap.

Is there a typo in your text? Shouldn’t that say “that remove the NOFOLLOW links” in your text above: “Dofollow blogs are blogs that remove the dofollow links from the urls in the comment section allowing search engines to count those links as votes to your site.”?

From all I understood about this subject it’s about removing the ‘nofollow’ attribute in the links which some community-unfriendly people set as a default in the main blogging applications for the comment links.
