DealDotCom - Internet Marketing Product Clearing House
September 22, 2007
The product today is Long Tail Traffic Secrets, at almost $60 off the normal price of $90. But it won’t be there tomorrow, because they only sell one product a day. So if you miss a day, you miss a chance.
This is a great deal for the customer, but is also a great deal for the vendor. Due to the nature of the products being only Internet Marketing products, a vendor could submit a product, take a 100% loss, and then make up for it quickly by having a whole new army of affiliates that was built in one day. If you are selling internet marketing products, you have to assume that many of the purchasers will be affiliate marketers who will sell your product.
The business model creates an urgency. One product each day, most over 50% off. You either decide to buy the product now or you pay full price tomorrow. This will create many more sales on a product’s launch day. And each sale creates another potential affiliate for your product when you change to your full price.
Yes, it was a brilliant idea.
Part of what you must do to survive as an affiliate marketer is to look at anything you see online from every angle. When the latest ebook may show you a system that will make you money until the search engines catch up with the method, I want to show you how to create your own methods and find the methods that other affiliate marketers are using. Always ask why and how. Don’t blindly follow. Look for the man behind the curtain.
You will learn more about affiliate marketing by analyzing whatever you see than reading an ebook.
