Clickbank Movers and Shakers

I haven’t posted on of these in a while, but this morning a few products made some pretty drastic jumps. All of the following products jumped more than 680 products in Clickbank’s ranking system yesterday. There were a lot more than increased in rank, but I decided to limit the list to the top seven movers. Why seven? No reason.
In this list, I see a few products that give me de ja vu. There are many Clickbank products that are merely copycats of others. A product hits it big and someone new creates a clone. And then more people do. And eventually that type of product gets a bad name. Can similar products actually add value? I think so. Everyone has a new twist on things. Like I have said before in this blog, if you buy a internet marketing product, you need to learn more than just the process taught in the book. You need to see if the process can be used as a template to brainstorm other processes.
The first marketing book I bought was Powerlinking. That was a while ago. I read it, followed the steps, and made progress in getting more traffic to my sites. Soon, everything taught in the book became second hand. It mainly taught that getting links to your site would increase Pagerank and bring more traffic and then it gave a few ways this could be done. But it also taught me to be alert at whatever site I happened to be at, to look at the links from the site and to analyse links to the site. I found a lot of new ways to build links to a site, methods I never read anywhere, but learned because I was on the lookout for them. Something I would have never done without reading the book. I came away with a lot more than the price of the book. I took what it taught further. That is what needs to be done to get your money’s worth out of an internet marketing ebook.
