Promoting Clickbank Products with Adwords

There are plenty of systems out there. The problem with systems is that they tend to get you in a rut. I have talked a lot about promoting Clickbank products with Adwords. There are many ebooks available on the subject. The problem is that most of them take one technique and expand it to the point it is a system with no regards to any other possible technique that may have a synergistic effect.

I learned to do this when I was promoting adware and spyware removers against heavy PPC competition. I made a good profit and my campaign ran for over a year without having to tweak it much because for most of the keywords I was using, there was no competition. It was during the time when Adwords had a minimum bid too. This was also during the time a lot of free quality spyware removers were becoming available.

It starts with a concept and the concept is this: people tend to use the same words and speech patterns when they are talking about similar items.

This one I have only heard through rumors. If Iooked at my sales through Adwords over the last few weeks, I would have thought there was a Google back pat going on. Or maybe the competition got a little less fierce as other affiliates got their slap. But for those of you worrying, here are a few links:

So much for my tracking system. I ran into this site today. I signed up and I guess I might give it a test run. Seems like it has features for tracking direct to affiliate link type ads. We will see and I will post a follow up down the road. And for now, signing up is free.

I am still here screwing around with the theme. Doesn’t look like it, but if you noticed the size and shape of a few of the widgets have changed for the new theme. The biggest mess is the categories. That is what is taking the longest. I plan on making the new theme active with the generic color scheme as soon as the mechanics are good. Then I will go to work on the look of the theme.
