Adsense Click Lock
December 18, 2007
I have heard of Google kicking people off of Adsense for many reason. They use algorithms to find the bad apples. Most of the times these algorithms do what they are supposed to do. And that is make sure that advertisers paying for ads are getting what they are paying for. Real people clicking through. Real people who are interested in your product.
But sometimes bad things happen to good people. I have heard of having their Adsense account deleted because they got one of their pages stumbled. The reason: the page got too many impressions and no clickthroughs, impression fraud. What? That’s ridiculous.
This product won’t help you with the problem above, but it will prevent some sneaky competitors from repeatedly clicking your ads. That makes you more money right? No Problem. Wrong. Enough of these clicks on the same ad from the same IP and Google will get you for clickfraud.
Adsense Click Lock gives you control over this. You can limit the amount of clicks coming from any IP by limiting the amount of times an ad shows for any one visitor. And maybe you won’t wake up to an Adsense account that mysteriously disappeared.
Me, actually liking a product? Is that strange or what. For one, it’s not overpriced. From looking at it, I would hate to write the software myself. And you get a free video Adsense course.
I will find plenty of products to bitch about later.
