Promoting Affiliate Products with Adwords on a Budget
I use Adwords to promote affiliate programs. It’s not all I use though. By using SEO first, I get an idea of what will work for advertising and then I attack. Because rank via SEO is harder to keep than rank that I paid for. But rank via SEO is cheaper and gives you an idea of what keywords are valuable to you.
But when you use advertising, you have time and you have credit limits. And your credit limit is your bankroll, stealing a term from poker which I used to be interested in but found the process too slow for making real money and keeping me interested.
Help Me Test My Niche Finding Tool
On Sunday, I got tired of using tools that were available for examining niches. Most are never updated for new sites. So I built my own on a website, so that everyone can use it.
Right now it has a limited amount of sites you can search. I plan on adding more as well as adding a function to export all RSS enabled search engines urls into an OPML file that you can import into a feed reader to track your terms.
I wrote it up here, but you don’t really need a tutorial. It’s pretty basic. So give my Niche Research Tool a test try.

And something clicked. I had been using a folder with various reports and text files in it to store the information about the blogs I’ve been building. But it was a mess. I tried mind maps and they became overwhelming in the end. So I gave WikidPad a try. I just started with keywords.
