The Clickbank Ad Serving Platform
Over the last year or so, Clickbank has really kicked it up a notch. They have added so many features that Clickbank affiliates have been waiting for for a long time. I just happened to notice this new feature as I was checking my sales stats.
I seems that they are adding an ad serving platform. Forget the old marketplace XML feed with the generic descriptions meant to get affiliates to sell a product rather than being of any benefit in selling a product. Now vendors can ad real ads to the marketplace feed. Well, maybe not now, but soon:
Clickbank as the Stock Market
I am going to let you in on something. There are a few ways you can pick a topic for a niche blog.
One is to go through your interests and what you want to learn and pick something. Then find some affiliate products that compliment that interest. Then start writing. If you are interested, than it should be easy to come up with content. This is probably the best way. Readers will notice your passion and your stake in what you have to say. You can’t go wrong with this route.
Clickbank’s New YouTube Channel
Clickbank has a new channel on YouTube. Currently there is only a screencast of the sign up process, but there should be more to come.
Affiliate Lessons From Elsewhere
This post is for the most part about taking my affiliate marketing route backwards. While I am building blogs to rank in the search engines and then using the stats from that activity to build PPC campaigns, Mattaw at MoneyBites shows us how to turn profitable PPC campaigns into profitable organically ranked sites:
If you have a profitable campaign you may want to build out a content site into that niche to grab organic visitors. The best thing about organic visitors is that they cost you nothing. While a ppc campaign will run you money a content site delivers good quality visitors for FREE.
Blogging to the Bank 3, Worth It or Not?
I tend to see ebooks as noise reducers. Yes, you may get the same information for free somewhere. And free is always better. In fact you may get a lot more information free than you would from an ebook and that’s value. Or is it?
There is value in information but there is more value in the right information. You don’t want to read the entire encyclopedia in order to learn about Anteaters. And that’s what good ebook author’s do for you. They sift through all the info and tell you, “I tried this and this and this and they all worked.” Plus with a price tag on the product, there is a reputation to maintain and customer service. In order for customer service to exist, there has to be a customer and a customer pays a price.
