PostHeaderIcon Dumping Your Sites

Don’t ever sell an active site unless that is your business model. If you get traffic to it, it is much better to keep. I see sites selling every day that I would have never sold. I also see sites that are not monetized at all that I would love to get my hands on. Oh, the oppurtunities.

A site in itself can be responsible for making you money without making money itself. It can send traffic to the sites that make you money.

PostHeaderIcon You Aren’t the Only One

No matter what you think, you are not the only affiliate marketer online. This sounds like a stupid statement. But every now and then you have to remind yourself of this.

I have spent weeks getting traffic to a site and been disappointed with the results I got. Most of the time, I would be down on myself. What did I do wrong? How could I have done this better?

But at the same time you are working on your site, hundreds or even thousands of others are working on sites of their own. And you can’t change that.

PostHeaderIcon Back from the Long Weekend

I have been working hard on a new Wordpress theme, which is why posts have been slow here. I will manage to get two or three posts here this week. Already have them planned. Hopefully everyone had a good Thanksgiving weekend.

It’s the big one this time. I got my emails saying this is the next best thing since the last best thing. Better get out your credit cards and start spending.

I think these emails are written for a certain type of person. One that is not as skeptical as me.

You could call this one Day Job Killer the sequel.

It’s great to know that it’s whole selling point is stealing ads, keywords, everything from people who have already done their research. No, don’t do your own work. Make your money off the backs of others. If I had time, I would write the true sales page for this product.

PostHeaderIcon The Amount of Traffic to Make a Sale

You need a gauge to know just how much you need to do make one sale. This one thing I didn’t have when I started. And it takes a lot more traffic than most newbies think to make one sale.

I signed up for Clickbank a year before I made a sale. I thought it was a simple as setting up a site and writing about the product. It takes much more than that. The three big ways to build traffic to a campaign are through SEO, PPC, and social media. Each has their benefits and drawbacks. And yes there are other ways, but they tend to fall under these umbrellas.
